Refrigerated Trailer Tracking
Refrigerated trailer tracking includes electronics and sensor technology installed
on a reefer trailer, which facilitates the remote monitoring and control of temperature
sensitive products and assets. The StarTrak trailer tracking system use Global Positioning
System (GPS) modules for precise location of the trailers while combining a communications
module such as satellite or cellular transmitters to communicate the location temperature,
and other critical data to fleet managers and other interested parties. Data becomes
information as refrigerated trailer status, health, and location, information becomes
readily accessible via the internet.

about refrigerated trailers' status, location, temperature, fuel levels, battery

Critical reefer alarms, excessive dwell and low fuel alerts are automatically generated
and transmitted as "alert messages" to manager's e-mail and cellular text

allows transportation managers to react and respond to issues before they become
problems.
One of the highlights of StarTrak's refrigerated tracking trailer system is the recording
and management of refrigeration unit temperatures including trailer's set points,
supply temperatures, return temperatures and ambient temperatures.
