NEW HARTFORD, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Par Logistics Management Systems Corporation (PAR LMS), a subsidiary of PAR Technology Corporation (NYSE: PTC - News), today announced that it has been selected by Golden State Foods (GSF) to provide its cold chain management solution to Golden State Foods’ vast food distribution network.
Par’s solution provides real-time monitoring of food product temperature on a continual basis during the transit cycle. The monitoring will also provide immediate alerts to truck operators and shipping managers to any variances in the food products during transit. This capability now affords Golden State Foods instant visibility into all product temperatures throughout their distribution network and routes and sets the standard for cold chain temperature monitoring and control in the food distribution industry.
